Two people have been arrested in Cookstown following a search operation that led to the discovery of suspected Class A and Class B drugs yesterday.
A post on Facebook said: "Following a search operation conducted in the Cookstown area by Mid Ulster District Support team assisted by the local Neighbourhood policing team, a quantity of suspected Class A drugs and Class B drugs have been seized.
"Two people have been arrested on possession and supply of drug offences and an investigation is ongoing.
"This is a significant success in keeping the local community safe and keeping dangerous drugs off the streets.
"Anyone with any information about drugs can can call Crimestoppers or contact police via 101. Help us tackle this problem!"
Police were asked for further details around the seizure but declined to comment further.
