COOPER'S LANE – A sum in cash has been stolen during an armed robbery at a bookmaker's premises.

The incident happened around 8.40pm on Tuesday, January 19, where two-armed and masked men entered the premises, threatened staff and demanded cash. The robbers ran off when an undisclosed sum was handed over.

Anyone who noticed the culprits or a vehicle parked in the area prior to the robbery or afterwards as the made good their escape is asked to contact the detectives at Larne station.

SHORE ROAD – Criminals have attempted unsuccessfully to break into a club’s premises. Police investigating the incident, which happened around 1.20am on Friday, January 22, are eager to hear from anyone who noticed the culprits in the area.

BROADWAY – A motorcycle has been damaged while parked at a car park. The bike was knocked over sometime between 9.30am and 12.30pm on Tuesday, January 19, causing damage to the mirrors, headlight, fairing, and hand shield.

GLYNN ROAD – A boiler has been stolen from a house, which also sustained severe water damage during a burglary.

The break-in was discovered around 2.10pm on Wednesday, January 13. Anyone who noticed the culprits or a vehicle parked in the area is asked to contact the police at Larne.
