MEMBERS of Curragh Young Farmers Club travelled to the Brown Trout, Aghadowey for the recent Annual County Londonderry Efficiency Awards Night to bag top awards for the club.
The night proved a success as David Johnston won Best Club Leader for the second year running. Diane Steele won Best Club Treasurer also for the second year running and Tanya Johnston won Best Club PRO.
The highlight of the night was when Curragh YFC received Best Club in County Londonderry. This was a great achievement by the club and the individual members who received prizes.
On the same night William Bolton received the County Londonderry Travel Award. David Johnston (Club Leader) would like to thank the members and parents of Curragh YFC for supporting the club meetings and letting the club win this cup.
The club recently held their Annual Dinner Dance in the Manor House, Kilrea. Members, friends and family came to support this event. The club would like to thank the Manor Kilrea for providing a beautiful meal and letting Curragh use their facility.
Curragh YFC would like to invite you along to the Annual Parents Night on Saturday 24th March in Curragh Orange Hall, Maghera commencing at 7.30pm. This night will involve sketches from club members as well as games and prize giving.
