Deaths in the community

The death took place suddenly at his home on January 11 of Samuel George (Sam) Sloan, 12 Russell Drive, Lurgan.

He was the father of Mark and Roy.

His funeral service was on Thursday in Malcomson’s Funeral Home followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Francis Breen

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on January 14 of Francis (Frank) Breen, 12 Hillcrest, Gilpinstown Road, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Mary and father of Gerard.

His funeral was on Saturday to St Paul’s Church followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Bridget Lennon

The death took place peacefully at Aughnacloy House on January 14 of Bridget Lennon, wife of the late Patrick, Hawthorn Avenue, Lurgan.

She was the mother of Sean, Maurice, Mary, Paul, Thomas, Elizabeth and the late Francis.

Her funeral was on Saturday to St Paul’s Church followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

David Patterson Ferris

The death took place at hospital on January 16 of David Patterson Ferris, husband of the late Lily, late of Clarendon Park, Magheralin.

His funeral was on Tuesday to Magheralin Parish Church followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.

John Joseph Livingstone

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on January 16 of John Joseph Livingstone, 2 O’Neill’s Terrace, Lurgan, and formerly of Moylinn, Craigavon.

He was the husband of Helena and father of Gerard and Stephen.

His funeral was on Tuesday to St Peter’s Temporary Church followed by interment in St John’s Cemetery, Lylo.
