Dobbies set to host a charity family fun day

Genevieve, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland’s healthy goat stepped out this week with Sarah Young from Dobbies Lisburn to launch their family fun day, in aid of Cancer Focus NI, Dobbies Local Charity Partner 2015.

Why not bring the whole family down to Dobbies Lisburn on Saturday 29th August for a fun, filled, family day out for all the family. Including face painting, bouncy castle, balloon modelling, plus a special guest appearance from Genevieve the Goat! The fun will kick off from 11.00am – 4.00pm.

“We have a range of activities for the family including ‘Mantella’ Eco Zoo which will be a exciting attraction. “

Rosie Forsythe, Corporate Fundraising Manager, Cancer Focus NI said, “At Cancer Focus NI we understand that there is little that causes as much anxiety and stress as a diagnosis of cancer.

“There are currently 82,200 families in Northern Ireland living with cancer and around 12,600 people are newly diagnosed each year.

“Our role is to make that time of extreme stress a little more bearable by providing a range of care services for cancer patients. We hope that lots of families will come along to this special event and help support our work.”
