Drug arrests follow sudden death

Two drug-related arrests followed the sudden death of a man in Craigavon last week.

The man, named locally as Thomas Halfpenny, who had recently moved to Gilpin Park in Dollingstown, died in the early hours of last Tuesday.

A report was received at around 1.20am that a man in his twenties had collapsed in the Moyraverty area. He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Police say they are not treating the death as suspicious.

At the scene a man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs related offences. They were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
