Exhibition and sale of artwork in Carnlough

A sale and exhibition of local art will be held during this year’s summer festival in Carnlough.

The artwork will be on display from Saturday July 25 until Friday July 31 in St John’s Primary School.

It will be displayed by Carnlough Art Society.

The opening times will be Saturday July 25, from 3.00 pm until 8.00 pm, Sun closed, Monday July 27 untilThursday July 30, from 3.00 pm until 8.00 pm, Fri day 31, from 3.00 pm until 4.00pm.

This will be the 48th annual art exhibition in Carnlough, making it the longest-running art exhibition in Northern Ireland.

The event will come to a close on Satuday 25, at 4.00 pm with an award ceremony for local schoolchildren who were prizewinners in the schools’ art competition.

This year, the theme was “A Day at the Beach”.

The prizes will be awarded by the president of the local Lions’ Club Karen McCormick.
