Citizens Advice Mid Ulster is expanding their service provision throughout the Mid Ulster District Council area.
Following the award of the Mid Ulster District Council contract to provide generalist advice and information services in the area for 2016/17, there will be an expansion of the service with the opening of a new Magherafelt office as well as an additional eight outreach venues across the region including south Tryone.
Mary O’Neill MBE, who is the Chairperson of Citizens Advice for Mid Ulster said she was looking forward to help the people of the are.
“Citizens Advice Mid Ulster are delighted to be working in partnership with Mid Ulster District Council to provide this service for all citizens across the district,” said Ms O’Neill
“We would also like to acknowledge the support from other funders and partnership projects supplementing the advice provision and providing additional services throughout the Mid Ulster area including: the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, the Public Health Agency, Pension Wise, and Relate.”

Citizens Advice Mid Ulster will have outreach locations in the following towns and villages: Aughnacloy, Ballygawley, Ballyronan, Bellaghy, Benburb, Broughderg, Caledon, Clogher, Coagh, Coalisland, Draperstown, Fivemiletown, Maghera, Moortown, Pomeroy, Stewartstown and Swatragh
Citizens Advice is the largest advice charity in Northern Ireland, working against poverty and meeting the information and advice needs of around 95,000 people per year.
They offer advice across a wide range of categories, including benefits, debt, consumer, employment and housing issues.
