Female shopkeeper stops armed robbers from stealing till in Dungannon shop

A female shop worker has challenged two armed robbers and prevented them from stealing a till in Dungannon.

The two men, one armed with a screwdriver, the other a knife, entered the shop in the Market Square area shortly after 6pm on Saturday and threatened staff.



They lifted the till and removed it from the shop before being confronted by the woman outside.

After a struggle they men dropped the till and left empty handed. No one was injured.

The men are described as 5’10” tall and one had local accent and facial stubble.
