Find out 'what's on' in Craigavon

CRAIGAVON Borough Council has recently launched its essential 'What's On In Craigavon' guide, jam-packed full of information on exciting events and activities to suit people of all ages, abilities and interests during autumn and winter.

Developed by Craigavon Borough Council’s Leisure Services Department, the guide is bursting at the seams full of fun filled events including a Murder Mystery night at Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, woodland workouts at Oxford Island and a family kite making and flying event in Lurgan Park.

There is also information on environmental and educational days out which families can enjoy together. From meadow restoration events at Oxford Island to tree-mendous trees activities at Lough Neagh Discovery children can learn interesting facts about their local environment while they enjoy a day out with their family.

Vice-Chair of Leisure Services Committee at Craigavon Borough Council, Councillor Mairead O’Dowd commented: “There is so much on offer in Craigavon and this guide gives a real taste of what makes the Borough so special to both residents and tourists alike.

"We have a wide range of varied events and activities happening throughout autumn and winter with plenty to please everyone. I would encourage both young and old to come along and enjoy these wonderful activities which have been organised with you in mind.”
