Finding the faith that nothing can shake
'Now faith is the substance of things hoped for.' Heb 11 - 1.
Trust and patience help keep the balance
Upon life’s rough and rocky ground
As we hold on to each given promise
Though no answer yet is found.
And we’re more apt to be victorious
Through the course of the grinding day
When we acknowledge the Gentle Shepherd
Is always there to lighten the way.
Keep bravely on in the midst of uncertainties
To yourself be loyal and true
And the more you reach out to others
Finds a way in returning to you.
Find the faith nothing can shake
Though oft sincerely put to the test
To believe the present one’s safe in God’s keeping
Will somehow outweigh all the rest.
