Fine for man driving an overladen vehicle
A MAN has been fined for using a vehicle which exceeded its legal weight limit.
James Knowles (41) of Priestland Road, Bushmills pleaded guilty to the offence at North Antrim Magistrates Court on Friday.
The court heard the vehicle was detected at Loguestown Industrial Estate, Coleraine in July last year.
It was found to be overloaded on two axis.
A defence solicitor said Knowles had driven for the company for the past six years.
He was fined 100 and ordered to pay court costs of 19.
