HIGH flying students at Northern Regional College have successfully gained their certificate in Airline and Airport Customer Care, Certificate in Airline and Airport Cabin Crew Operations, Certificate in Passenger Service Agent Skills and Certificate in Setting up Tourism Business at the Northern Regional College, Ballymena Campus.
These very successful courses are the only ones of their kind in Northern Ireland and due to the expansion of the airline industry at Belfast International Airport, Derry City Airport and George Best City Airport the College is best situated to offering these courses to the local community.
Forty one students were presented with their certificates by Deirdre Graffin Business Account and Public Relations Executive at Belfast International Airport and Karen McLeod, Airline and Airport Course Manager for Travel and Tourism at NRC.
These add-on certificate programmes are suitable for all age groups and are relevant to industry needs, with the prime focus on the passenger. Included in their studies is airline and airport customer care, creating a positive impression with passengers, solving passenger problems and the importance of product knowledge of the entire airline industry.
The courses are highly commended by Deirdre Graffin, PR Executive at Belfast International Airport.
