Derry comfortably defeated Wexford 1-16 to 0-10 at Owenbeg on Saturday, to make it through to the third round of the All-Ireland qualifiers.
Eoin Bradley, Enda Lynn and O’Boyle notched early points for Derry whose skipper Mark Lynch then added three frees.
After the goal, which went in off Wexford defender Brian Malone, a Benny Heron 45 and Danny Heavron’s score from play gave the Ulster men a seven-point interval advantage.

Captain Lyng added more scores in the second half, with Ben Brosnan and Eoghan Nolan also adding to the Wexford tally.
But Lynch, Heron, O’Boyle, Liam McGoldrick and Conor McAtamney scores helped Derry increase their lead to nine points.
