Gifts and crafts on display at Ballynure WI

Newly-elected President Geraldine Wylie welcomed members and visitors to the November meeting of Ballynure WI, especially Ruth Wilson from ‘Bags & Bunting’ who brought along some hand crafted bags and other seasonal gifts.

Ruth explained how her business had grown from creating gifts for family and friends to selling her crafts at St George’s Market and other outlets.

Jeannie Lynd proposed a vote of thanks and then members had the opportunity to purchase craft and gift items.

Dilys Barr was also thanked for her enthusiastic participation in the singalong at Inver Area AGM.

First prise for the competition ‘A Nice Wee Bag’ was won by Carol Carser, second was Isobel Bingham and third Jill McCartney.

The Magazine prise was won by Pat Mees.
