Graveyard sign up
A SIGN directing visitors to Derrykeighan Old Graveyard and Church ruins has now been erected.
The news was revealed during a recent Leisure and Amenities Committee meeting.
The report explained: ‘Members may recall that at the Committee meeting held on October 24 2008 correspondence on behalf of the Select Vestry of the Parish Church of St Colman, Derrykeighan drawing attention to the need for suitable signage to the old graveyard and church ruins at Derrykeighan was considered.
‘Although it has take some considerable time to achieve, signage has now been provided to assist those seeking direction to Derrykeighan Old Graveyard and Church ruins.’
