Harvest thanksgiving in Desertmartin
Harvest thanksgiving services will be held in Desertmartin Parish Church this Sunday at 12 noon and 6pm.
It is planned to have Baillies Mills Accordion Band playing at the morning service.
Following this, there will be a lunch of soup and hot dogs, as well as a pudding or two,to help raise funds to drill for a well in Uganda through “Fields of Life”. A sheet has been left in the porch which you are asked to sign if you are planning to attend.
Please bring along as many friends as you can, there will be plenty to eat, and the band is excellent! Note, that there will be no Sunday school in Desertmartin on October 5
and 12.
