COOKSTOWN library is hosting a roadshow highlighting the need to keep your mind healthy.
A new partnership between Libraries NI and four leading mental health charities aims to help tens of thousands of people affected by or at risk of mental illness.
Action Mental Health, Aware Defeat Depression, Cause and MindWise have teamed up with the library creating a Health in MInd team which is holding the first of their local roadshows in Cookstown library on October 19 from 2.00pm – 4.00pm.
Information stands and practical demonstrations will be provided by a range of mental health agencies and service providers.
Northern Ireland playwright and poet Damian Gorman MBE will reflect on mental health and well-being and his work to date in this area. A wide range of reading resources for health and well-being will also be available on the day.
“Come along to Cookstown Library on 19th October from 2.00pm and talk to library staff about the areas you would like more information on and we will do our best to help.”
