Rodney Stewart an amateur filmmaker from Tobermore has set up an Indiegogo campaign to fund a suicide prevention film.
The film titled Conclusions is the first in a planned trilogy and will focus on a young man’s tribulations with depression which ends in his suicide.
The short film will also show the troubles from his friends point of view, and the events that would have happened if he hadn’t taken his own life.
The fundraising is being run through an online fundraising website called Indiegogo which allows the opportunity to crowd fund projects such as this.

The campaign has set an ambitious £4000 budget that Stewart hopes to hit by June 5.
This money will go towards various costs such as hiring a crew, renting equipment and securing filming locations. Stewart has also set several perks to claim for potential investors, such as a high definition download of the completed film, and the title of Executive Producer on the project.
Stewart has said “I believe this is a very important film with the ability to change lives.
“The film is aimed towards anyone who may be dealing with thoughts of suicide and hopefully it will give them a fresh perspective and God willing change their mind on taking their own life.”
A short teaser for the film is currently available online and donations can be made to the film’s Indiegogo page.
