Heartless vandals steal from church
Police are appealing for information following a theft from a church in Mallusk.
The Times understands the incident took place sometime between 4:30pm on Thursday, March 30 and 07:30am on Friday, March 31, but details were only made public by the police today.
Detailing the theft, a police spokesperson said: “A considerable amount of lead was stolen from the roof of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church in Mallusk. Did you notice anyone suspicious in the area of Hyde Park Presbyterian?
“Did you observe a suspicious vehicle on Hydepark Road or on Mallusk Road? If so, please get in touch by calling the non-emergency number 101.”
