Holy Trinity College ICT Club’s have laid the groundwork for a new app that could soon replace the school’s text message system, allow users to get live updates about the school and access timetables.
App for the Future, which was launched at an event with Back to the Future’s signature DeLorean car, represents the College’s future communication aspirations, as they hope to reach students and parents through their smart phones.
The board of governors, staff and students from Holy Trinity College and partner primary schools, parents, residents from Sperrin Court and C2K Area Manager, Damian Harvey, were treated to the first viewing of the video - which was also produced by the ICT Club to promote the app.
Students designed the app’s content following consultations with school council, parents and members of staff. A major milestone for Holy Trinity, the free app is available to download on iTunes and Google Play.
