Homes evacuated after arson attack on Larne ‘legal highs’ shop

A number of residents had to be moved from flats above Northern Lights hydroponics shop on Dunluce Street.

Police said shutters at the premises had been forced open and a fire was started shortly before 4am. Damage was caused to the inside of the shop as a result.

The residents have since been allowed to return to their homes.

Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the attack or who noticed any suspicious activity to contact them.
