Irish TV is to air Rathlin Sound

That’s according to the organisers of the Festival, which include Moyle District Council, Ballycastle Community Development Group and Rathlin Development & Community Association.

Launched globally on 1st May 2014, Irish TV broadcasts to a worldwide audience 24 hours a day online and on Sky channel 191 or FreeSat 400.

Caroline Carey, Tourism Development Officer, Moyle District Council, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Ireland’s newest television station, Irish TV, to Rathlin Island and Ballycastle to cover our week long eclectic programme of activities and events.

“We relish this fabulous opportunity to showcase the colour and variety of the Festival and introduce this beautiful part of the world and all it has to offer to a brand new global audience.”

Sponsored by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board this year’s festival takes place from May 23rd until June 1st.
