Police are appealing for witnesses to a Moneymore car crash that left a jeep extensively damaged, while the other driver fled the scene.
The incident was reported to have taken place on the Littlebridge Road in Moneymore on the evening of Thursday, February 11.
Two cars were involved in the collision, a silver Mitsubishi Outlander and a silver Renault Clio.
It is understood that the Outlander sustained extensive damage as it left the road ending up in a field, but the Clio left the scene prior to the arrival of police.
Constable Paul Grant is the investigating officer and would appeal to the driver of the Renault Clio or anyone who witnessed the collision to contact officers in Magherafelt on 101.
