Just one skin doctor working on skin cancer
JUST one skin doctor is employed by the Western Trust for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, it’s been revealed.
Six consultants in the Ear, Nose and Throat speciality, however, are also involved in the treatment of skin cancer here.
Health Minister Edwin Poots revealed “the number of consultants involved in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and/or who have a special interest in skin cancer” in response to an Assembly Question.
