'˜Large sum of cash' and watch stolen in Moygashel house burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after a large sum of cash and watch were reported stolen in a burglary in the Grove Place area of Moygashel.

Detective Inspector Will Tate said: “It was reported that between the hours of 4.30pm on Friday, November 25 and 12am on Saturday, November 26, entry was gained via the rear door to a residential premises in the Grove Place area of Moygashel.

“A large sum of cash and a watch was stolen.

“We are appealing to anyone that may have any information regarding this incident or to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives at Cookstown Reactive and Organised Crime on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 335 on 26/11/16.

“Or, alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
