Laughterland gets a splash of colour

Laughterland Early Years, Newbridge was given a colourful ‘makeover’ when six young girls from Rutledge, Magherafelt volunteered to create a colourful and stimulating play environment by painting the outside fence.

Their effort, commitment, time and energy was part of Volunteer Now’s drive to encourage young people to volunteer and they did a fantastic job in one day!

Laughterland provides a high quality pre school playgroup and nursery, an after school club and a summer scheme. The additional outside play area is vital for the young people’s development and enjoyment. The paint was donated by Moyola and Toome Credit Union.

Check out the Volunteer Now Youth Facebook page for lots more photos of the volunteers in action!
