IN The Glow of the Light is the title of Lisa McHugh’s latest promotion single and she will be showcasing her new song at the Royal Hotel, Cookstown, on Friday night (June 22).

Doors open for The Royal Hotel Goes Country at 9pm and admission is £12. There will also be dancing with DJ Jenny B.

The Royal is holding a Dine and Dance Special for £25 per person. There is also the option of the Dine, Dance and Stay at the cost of £115, based on two people sharing.

Lisa is an award winning singer having accepted the ‘Best Single of the Year’ accolade at West Limerick 102 2012 show in the company of the cream of Ireland’s entertainment industry at the Devon Inn Hotel, Templeglantine, Co Limerick.

This happened following a very special visit to Nashville where Lisa literally stopped the traffic in downtown Nashville. Being accustomed to regularly having major stars visit from around the world it’s not very often that traffic downtown comes to a halt for an artist.

However there was an exception to the rule as a Nashville based camera crew filmed Lisa McHugh’s visit prior to her appearance on the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, March 6.

Lisa appeared on the Opry as guest of her friend, the legendary Gene Watson when they performed a duet together of the country classic Help Me Make It Through the Night.

Her latest album is Old Fashioned Girl and her single In The Glow Of The Light is out now.
