LOUGHRY students recently had the opportunity to gain experience during a visit to a well-known drinks company.

As part of the Quality Assurance unit, second year National Diploma students recently enjoyed a tour of the state-of-the-art Coca Cola factory in Lisburn.

Students were able to see the well-known drink being manufactured and also learnt about the various factors that affect the quality of the product. These visits are a great way to help students gain a greater insight into the commercial world of food processing and see theory being put into practice. Loughry Campus’s practically based courses and world class facilities ensure that students are equipped to make almost any food and drink product.
