Loughry venue for Cree play

THE Gateway Theatre from Portadown is presenting its latest presentation “Widow’s Paradise” in Loughry Campus.

One of the great Sam Cree’s ever-popular comedies, set in the sixties, it relates the hilarious events when widower Harry Bradshaw, his mate Ernie and son Alan are enjoying a quiet fishing break at their caravan in Portrush, when their peace is shattered by the arrival of five women who are on an “escape from men” holiday weekend.

Added to this mixture is the long astranged husband of one of the women and a rampant widowed farmer! The action rattles along with typical Sam Cree humour - certainly an evening not-to-be-missed!

The show is on on Sat 1st October at 7.45pm. Tickets £7 or pay at the door.
