Lurgan lads swim across Lough Neagh
In an epic challenge, two Lurgan men Gordon Hamill and Gerard Martin became the first duo in modern times to swim across Lough Neagh.
It was a gruelling nine and a half hours in high winds and waves of up to six feet. The pair completed the 12 miles stretch for two charities, Children in Crossfire and Lough Neagh Rescue. The latter charity shadowed the two men across the lough.
