Magical Christmas fun for all the family

ARE you busy planning your families visit to see Santa this year? Look no further that the Burnavon, Cookstown for special family activities not to be missed! This weekend December 17 and 21 Santa will drop into Cookstown.

During their visit children will have the opportunity to write and post their special letter, meet and chat with Santa and receive a special gift and a photograph of their visit as well as enjoying complimentary milk and cookies for all children after their visit. Admission to the grotto is £6.00 per child, adults go free. Please note that all photographs will be available for collection at the time of your visit.

The opening times for the grotto are as follows: December 17: 9am – 6pm, December 18: 2pm – 6pm and December 19-21 between 3pm and 7pm.

The Armagh Rhymers will also make a special Christmas appearance on Saturday December 17, in the foyer of The Burnavon, Cookstown. As one of Northern Ireland’s most celebrated folk theatre ensembles, The Armagh Rhymers have delighted audiences all over the world with their unique blend of music, drama, song and dance. With a selection of Christmas music, they are sure to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Attention all parents: if you’re looking for that last minute Christmas gift, check out the Craft Shop located in the Burnavon. Stocking a wide selection of local handmade crafts, there’s something for everyone.
