The 58-year-old woman who was killed in a road crash in Portglenone on Friday has been named locally as Primrose McCaw.
While the 46-year-old man who died in hospital after witnessing the aftermath of the crash has been revealed to be her boss at McKeown’s Fine Foods in Rasharkin.
It is understood Conor McKeown, a director at the turkey processing company run by him and his brother, suffered a heart attack after arriving at the scene of the crash.
He was taken to hospital, but sadly, later passed away.
Mrs McCaw was said to be on her way to work when she became involved in the two-vehicle crash on Townhill Road in Portglenone shortly before 7am. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, but has since been released on bail and is helping police with their enquiries.
