Man attacked and robbed by gang

POLICE in Londonderry are appealing for information following an assault and robbery.

Around 12.45am on Tuesday, 6 September, a 20 year old male was walking along a pathway at the back of St Mary’s Secondary School between Northland Road and Pennyburn Industrial Estate when he passed four males.

The male was struck to the back of his head and his black Samsung Galaxy SII mobile phone and ear phones were taken.

The first male is described as being approximately 21 years old, approximately 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, clean shaven and was wearing tight dark coloured jeans, brown loafers and white t-shirt. The second male is described as being approximately 6ft tall, of slim build with tight, black hair and was wearing white Reebok tainers. The third male is described as being approximately 21 years old, approximately 6ft tall, of stocky build, clean shaven and was wearing a black Adidas tracksuit with silver lines and white Nike Air Max trainers with a blue tick. The fourth male is described as being approximately 21 years old, approximately 6ft tall, of slim build, clean shaven and was wearing a black Adidas tracksuit with black lines and black Nike Air Max trainers.
