Man required staples to head after assault in Cookstown


A MAN who was assaulted in Cookstown last week has had to have six staples to his head and treatment on his broken hand.

Police are investigating a report of an assault which occurred on Tuesday 16th July at approximately 2:30am on the Main Street area of Cookstown.

A man was struck by a male, before being set upon by the group of males.
