Mayor is new member

MAYOR of Londonderry Colum Eastwood has joined the newly formed Patient and Client Council Membership Scheme, making him one of the 1000 people in Northern Ireland making their voice heard on health and social care issues in the West.

Explaining why he joined up to the Membership Scheme he said: “I support the work of the Patient and Client Council and encourage those who have not yet signed up to their membership scheme to join and help shape the future of health and social care services in Northern Ireland.”

Members will know how they are helping to make a difference to services being delivered in the Western area, as their views are reported to the decision makers for health and social care, to better inform how services are managed.
