Mayor opens book of condolence for Paisley

Mayor of Coleraine, Councillor George Duddy, said: “Ian was inspirational, charismatic and well respected within communities of Northern Ireland and Coleraine. He was a man who worked tirelessly for everyone, irrespective of background.

“By opening this Book of Condolence we are giving the people of Coleraine and beyond the opportunity to extend deepest sympathies to Ian’s family and show how much he was thought of by us all.

He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Eileen, his wife and the Paisley family”

The Condolence Book is available to sign at Coleraine Town Hall and Coleraine Borough Council Civic Headquarters, Cloonavin until Friday 26th September 2014.
