SDLP MLA for Mid Ulster, Patsy McGlone, has praised management and staff of Keystone Lintels on a recent visit to the company’s Cookstown site.
The Mid Ulster MLA chairs the Assembly Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Investment. Keystone Lintels is part of the Keystone Group of companies and was founded in 1989.
Mr McGlone said, “I was very pleased to be able to visit the Keystone production site at the Ballyreagh Industrial Estate, Cookstown.
“The company is a highly successful and innovative supplier to the construction industry and that success is a tribute to the hardworking staff and management.
“From opening its first production facilities in Cookstown in 1989 the company has grown rapidly in its short history, and the Keystone Group now has sites in Cookstown, Birmingham, Cwmbran, and Poland.
“Keystone is now the UK and Ireland’s largest Steel Lintel manufacturer and Europe’s fastest growing Roof Window manufacturer.
“I will make every effort I can as Chair of the Enterprise, Trade and Investment Committee to support our local businesses- both large and small.
“A stable and secure Executive and Assembly that delivers policies that support the growth of local businesses is the way forward here. Those parties that do not work together towards that future do not deserve the support of the public now.”
