McIlveen pops in to Irish Street centre

Regional Development (DRD) Minister Michelle McIlveen was in Londonderry on Thursday of last week and took time to visit the Irish Street community centre to discuss development plans in the area.

DUP MLA Gary Middleton MLA said “We were delighted to meet the Minister and to raise issues which are under the remit of the Department for Regional development.

“We took the opportunity to highlight the plans which are in place for the Irish Street area of the Waterside and to seek her assistance in progressing the development. With finance from DSD secured for the new play park, it is vital that the appropriate road and path networks are in place.
