A COOKSTOWN woman is appealing for her medical bracelet to be returned after it was accidentally lost in the town.
The woman had been shopping in Cookstown on the morning of Wednesday, August 1 and she later discovered the bracelet was missing.
The gold bracelet, which she is required to wear at all times, consists of a chain and a small round compartment which stores important information about her blood group.
The woman told the MAIL that if she was involved in an accident and was given a transfusion without medics being aware of her change in blood group, this would be fatal.
The woman has enquired in all the shops she visited in Cookstown that morning.
If anyone has found the bracelet they are asked to contact 028 8676 4091 or hand it in to the police station in Cookstown.
