Men attempt to steal charity boxes

POLICE have arrested three men on suspicion of theft and fraud after they tried to take charity collection boxes from a number of shops and licensed premises in the Glengormley and the greater Belfast areas recently.

The two 23-year-olds and a 21-year-old were questioned by officers and later released on bail pending further enquiries.

It’s understood the charity boxes the men attempted to steal belong to a children’s cancer fund.
