Millburn pupils hit high note
MILLBURN Primary School pupils have once again excelled in their music exams.
P6 and P7 pupils entered for grades 1-4 in violin, cello, flute and clarinet.
62% of the pupils achieved a merit mark (80%) or higher in their exam. Charley Cassells (10) attained a Distinction in Grade 4 flute and Toby Tregear (11) achieved a Distinction in Grade 2 clarinet, a wonderful result for woodwind.
The examiner commented on the overall musical intelligence of the Millburn pupils and he was impressed with their general enjoyment of performing that was displayed during their playing.
