More road works set for Moira

Transport NI has warned road users to allow additional time for their journey as a road closure is expected.

Resurfacing work, will take place between 8am and 6pm daily, until completion set for March 23.

Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: “This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway. Moira resident and visitors to the area will quickly benefit from the investment.”

Transport NI said that the closure wil to help ensure the safety of road users and contractors traffic management is necessary will be in place including a road closure. Well signposted diversions will be in operation.
