Mother who lost unborn twins in racist attack fears safety and wants to move

The mother-of-four, 34, who has asked not to be named, lost her twins when she was kicked in the stomach on Water Eaton Road, Bletchley.

She is now set to move house with her husband and four children - as she currently lives less than a mile from her alleged attacker.

Councillor Mohammed Khan who is helping the family find new housing, said the couple were scared for the welfare of their children.

He said: “They worry about the children, they worry the attacker can come to the house and do other things.

“I would do the same if I were them, they’ve been through trauma and this guy he’s a monster, he’s really a bad man.”

The family are so scared that the 40-year-old husband has had to give up his job as a taxi driver to stay home and reassure his traumatised wife.

Cllr Khan said he was working with the council to move the couple to new housing.

The 34-year-old woman of was attacked by a man on August 6 and lost her unborn twins shortly after the assault.

A 37-year-old man from Bletchley was arrested on September 14 in connection with a racially aggravated assault.

No charges were made and he has been bailed to return on November 3.
