Mountain challenge for Gregor
Gregor, 44, is usually seen driving up and down to his work in Belfast, but on 4th September he will be pulling on his walking boots and climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
“I haven’t done anything like this for years,” says Gregor. “I used to do a lot of walking when I was at school, but that was 25 years ago! Now I’m out walking every day and going to the gym as well. Thanks to Jemma, by the way, at Causeway Route2fitness who’s trying to help me get into some sort of shape!”

Gregor’s wife Isabel (née Collins), was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and the charity has been a constant support ever since.
“When Isy was diagnosed with breast cancer, it was a real shock. Nothing can prepare you for something like that,” continued Gregor,
“It has been tough for Isy, and for our daughter, Emma-Jean. We were put in touch with Breast Cancer Care. The support that they have given Isy has been invaluable in helping her cope with everything that her treatment has thrown at her. It’s let Isy talk to other women who really understand what she is facing because they are going through it as well.

“So far I have raised over £300 and money is still coming in. So I’d really love to call on everyone’s support to help me achieve my goal.”
Kilrea girl Isabel added: “Climbing Ben Nevis is going to be a real challenge for Gregor, but I know he will do it. I’m very proud of him.”
