Additional funding was made available by the Department of Education and the Church of Ireland.
The opening of the new building at Maghera’s interface area as a new “Shared Town Initiative” will represent both sections of the community.
It will allow the Association to further its cross-community work and develop a safe base in which to roll out a sustained and effective series of Community Relations and Community Development workshops, events, seminars etc in addition to social activities and education.
