New book recalls the early days of the RUC

THE Royal Ulster Constabulary George Cross Foundation has launched its 'We Remember' book - a publication recalling the early days of policing in Northern Ireland.

‘We Remember’ covers the period 1922 to 1970, and is based on over 170 interviews conducted with retired police officers and members of their families as part of the ongoing compilation of the oral history of the force.

The book is available from the Foundation Office priced 10.
