Northern Bank staff climb Errigal for charity

STAFF members from Northern Bank, Ballygawley, recently organised a charity walk up Mount Errigal, which at 752m is Donegal’s highest mountain.Rain, wind and mist on the day failed to dampen their spirits with everyone making it to the top where, when the mist cleared, magnificent views over Donegal were enjoyed by all.

Fundraising took place in the Branch beforehand and the customers contributed the magnificent sum of £600 to Northern Bank’s charity partner, Cancer Focus, Northern Ireland.

Funds will go to their Family Support Service and are invaluable to family members affected by cancer.

Branch manager, Irwin Lapsley said “ all in all, it was a great experience while raising money for a very worthwhile cause. We are very grateful to our loyal customers in Ballygawley who are always supportive of our fundraising ventures.”
