I received no money from Council: Cousley
SIR - Could I through your paper reply to the query regarding the cost of the Battle of the Somme visit.
I, accompanied by my wife, travelled with a private operator on a Battlefields Tour which included the July 1st services.
I paraded with the Orange Order and took part in the services of Remembrances. I was photographed with the councillors. However I was not sent by my Council. We paid all our expenses and did not receive any money from Council.
I hope this clears the matter.
