Panto cast get invite to Belfast Food fair festival

AFTER a successful season in Cookstown, the Stewartstown Amateur Dramatics Society will be bringing the Alice in Wonderland cast to Belfast.

Now in its thirteenth year, the cross-community project has simply got bigger and better and this year’s Alice in Wonderland production was the cherry on top of a scrumptious theatrical feast.

The colourful array of fantastical characters delighted audiences far and wide with an array of songs, dances and riddling rhymes that proved a magical combination and achieved record breaking sales for the Burnavon Theatre. The Alice in Wonderland production sold over 3000 tickets and performed to a full house throughout the month of January.

The cast are delighted about the fantastic opportunity to take their thespian antics to Belfast on Sunday 11 March where they will participate in the Mad Hatter themed Food Fair at the Belfast City Hall.

The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party Food Fair is a family event that will showcase local food products and will mark the end of the Belfast Independent Retail Week designed to celebrate the range and quality of the independent trader. It presents a magical opportunity to join the mischievous antics of the Mad Hatter once again, enjoy storytelling and songs all washed down with a good old cuppa -what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
